Professional qualifications are necessary for satisfactory performance of required services.
Archeological investigations shall be performed either by a “professional archeologist” who meets the Secretary of the Interior ’s qualifications (36 CFR Part 61; RCW 27.53.030 (8)) or under the supervision of a professional archeologist.
Knowledge of and experience with archeological monitoring practices during construction and overseeing construction activities that could disturb archeological resources.
Knowledge of and experience with documentation of historic, cultural, and archeological resources during construction.
Certifications related to archeological monitoring practices and materials including any certifications.
Prior experience working with Federal Government Project Managers /CO Rs on field investigations and construction monitoring.
An interview may be requested to confirm the above criteria are met.
