The Data Manager will support MRM’s operations where the aim is to deliver service to the best possible standard for all products and processes managed from the U.S office.
The Data Manager ensures that the data displayed on client web sites is accurate and meets client specifications.
The Data Manager is also responsible for process improvement of XML creation as well as training on- and off-shore resources to create and maintain XML files.Responsibilities
Maintain XML files for global applications, as well as data-driven pages for all products.
Ability to work with diverse global teams which will include internal MRM staff as well as client vendors.
Ability to create technical documentation and present to all knowledge levels.
Use appropriate analytical frameworks to illustrate and explain the problem and solution clearly, to all levels of users.
Liaise with MRM’s brand project managers in ensuring all incidents are resolved as quickly and effectively as possible with key focus being on maintaining service to our customers.
Review and recommend, as appropriate, changes to support processes to ensure continuous improvement of the data management process.
Assists senior data manager and brand teams in supporting monthly retail promotion events.
Assists in the management of projects assigned to offshore development team(s) as appropriate.Required Skills Qualifications
Candidate MUST have strong attention to detail and quality.
Must have strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain solutions to senior business stakeholders within the organization.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Must be able to work effectively with partners and/or suppliers to deliver an overall solution to the client.
Ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple projects.
Exceptional troubleshooting skills based on resourceful research.Experience
Clear understanding of digital marketing assets, including CGI (computer generated imagery).
Working knowledge/familiarity with: Content management systems, Application servers, Database servers, and Akamai .
Understanding Web technology (such as HTTP, FTP, Responsive , etc.), CMS & Web Services is an advantage.
Knowledge of XML, HTML, CSS.
Knowledge of ticketing systems, such as Atlassian JIRA.
Knowledge of J Query and Java Script is a plus.
Experience in working with CMS is an advantage.
Knowledge of vehicle data is a plus.
MS Office ( Word , Excel and Power Point ) required.
2+ years of experience on web technology ( Educational experience will be considered)Degree in Software Development or Bachelors in Computer Science or Information Management Systems or Equivalent
